Rosie Westbrook is a musician and composer with an enormous depth of style from Rock to Avant Garde.

A highly regarded Melbourne musician, known primarily for her double bass and electric bass work, Rosie is also one of the most eclectic. She has composed for film and television, and produced a suite of her own recordings. She has toured and recorded with numerous contemporary artists, perfomed with classical ensembles and numerous theatrical productions and has regular session work for film and television.

One thing remains constant, whatever the musical landscape, a warm, rich tone and sensitivity of touch that is a hallmark of Rosie's playing;
"... achingly restrained double bass... lovingly played."
Kelsy Munro, Sydney Morning Herald

Following on from the critically acclaimed Wave album of 2003, her second solo album Big As The Ocean was released in March, 2008.
